At our September 11th Bead Study meeting we answered a challenge to make a creative necklace without buying any new beads. Carolyn Granados and Karen Crete provided disc-shaped stone pendants as a starting point, and leather and yarn cording. We all brought extra beads we had around the house to share, and we ended up with some wonderful creations.
Our next meeting, on October 9th, will be a chance to bring your own project to work on. If you have a new piece of jewelry you would like to show, please bring it as we love to see your new designs!
Amy Johnson will host the December meeting at her house. Please start collecting any beads and supplies you want to to sell then. Tables will be provided to display your great “finds”. Also, we will plan our meetings for the new year. The meeting is open to all members. Hope you all can attend.
Many thanks to Carolyn Granados for the photos and report!
