Fifteen members of the Bead Study group met at our new site for classes, Sierra 2 Center in Curtis Park. Everyone agreed that the room is spacious and full of natural light to work on the beading projects that we create each month.
Jewelry artist Ila Lewis instructed members how to create a beautiful wire-wrapped gear necklace. Ila supplied all the items we needed, and passed out instructions to follow. Ila also provided a list of YouTube videos to view some alternate techniques.
Each pendant has a focal button or Swarovski rivoli highlighting the wire-wrap design. Everyone was successful in completing a pendant to take home and finish the necklace with their own selection of beads and findings. Every pendant was so unique and different from the others, a treasure anyone would love to wear.
