Elisa Reutinger: Creative Mending
Please join us on Thursday, July 13 at 6:30 pm for refreshments and general membership meeting, Following the meeting, Elisa Reutinger will present a lecture and demonstration on Creative Mending.
“Repair, Renew & Reuse” and “See It Sew It Love It” are just a few titles of popular mending books out now. Why so much interest? Maybe it is just an extension of our creativity or, maybe it is so much more than that! This lecture on Creative Mending will clue you in to the craze and give you lots of creative mending techniques to use on your favorite sweaters (cashmere or otherwise), jeans, and even t-shirts. Please bring at least one garment to mend, if you wish.
