Please join us on Thursday, September 14 at 6:30pm for refreshments and general membership meeting. Following the meeting, Jeleana Johnson, SCTA Program Chairperson will share with us her fascination with African Mud Cloth. Jeleana has studied the formulation of Mud Cloth through reading various articles, watching documentaries and attending seminars. A brief presentation of the history of Mud Cloth; display of items made of Mud Cloth; and a “hands on take home” participation by attendees will be part of her presentation.
This is a general membership event so admission is free to members of SCTA (and Weavers and Spinners) and $5 for guests.
