Join Sacramento Center for the Textile Arts for an introduction to the art of crochet! Through guided instruction, participants will learn a series of beginner stitches using crochet hooks and yarn, and complete two Granny Squares. Participants are also invited to return in June to include their creations in SCTA’s annual Yarn Bombing Installation at McKinley Park. Though Senior Girl Scouts will earn their Textile Artist Badge, this program is also open to anyone wanting to learn to crochet!
Workshop Dates: April 7, May 19, and June 1, 2024
Badge Connections: During this program, girls will complete badge steps to fulfill the requirements of the Senior Textile Artist Badge.
Program facilitated by: Sacramento Center for the Textile Arts, a GSHCC Program Partner.
Program Fee: $30 for Girl Scouts, $40 for non-Girl Scouts.
Program fee includes: In-person instruction, supplies, and a space to make new friends. A badge is not included. The badge can be purchased separately from the Girl Scout Shop.

Adult Supervision: Adult supervision is required.
- Adults must stay to provide supervision for their Girl Scouts.
- This event is hosted and run by a third party. GSHCC staff will not be present.
