Did you know there’s a 50% chance the clothes you’re wearing right now were dyed with indigo?
This rich, timeless blue has connected cultures for centuries — and now it’s your turn to dive in!

Join the Sacramento Center for the Textile Arts for a hands-on Community Indigo Dip Dye Day, happening alongside the always-popular Art Elephant Sale — a day full of creativity, community, and fiber art fun!

🌀 The Indigo Fiber Arts Experience
Participants will explore the magic of indigo and create stunning patterns using simple tools like clamps, blocks, rubber bands, and string. You’ll dye either a bandana or a piece of cotton — perfect for wearing, displaying, or using in your next sewing or craft project.

No prior dye experience is needed!

👕 A Quick Heads-Up:
Indigo dye stains! Be sure to wear old clothes and shoes, or bring an apron or smock to protect your outfit while you create.
