Natural Dyeing is May General Meeting Topic
Join us Friday, May 14 at 6:30 pm via Zoom for our May general meeting.
Why not change the color of your cloth or yarn to suit your mood? Natural dyeing is easy and can make use of food scraps to transform your clothing items or fabrics. On Friday, May 14th, at 6:30 pm we will have two representatives from Sacramento’s own Yisrael Family Farm with us to talk about natural dyeing using food scraps. Judith Yisrael will talk about the farm operations, and dyeing guru Gabrielle Rosado will talk about natural dyeing.
Beet trimmings, onion skins, walnut hulls and avocado pits can all provide a needed lift to your dull fabric items. Please join us via Zoom to hear this informative presentation. For more information, view this post.
