Special interest groups

Beading Study Group meetings are held at 10:30 am the second Tuesday of each month, and are open to all interests and skill levels. They are organized by Sally Nagy. Also look for the SCTA Bead Study Group on Facebook.

The Book Arts (and Paper Arts) Study Group was just revived late in 2019. The regular meeting date will be the third Thursday of the month at Shepard Garden and Arts Center, from 12:45 to 3:15 pm. LuAnne Hansen is the organizer. Also look for the SCTA Book Arts Group on Facebook.

The Needle Arts Group meets to encourage and inspire each other in the needlework arts. Led by Barbra Lord, the group’s meeting dates and time will be announced. The group does not meet during t.he months of July, August, and December. Also look for the SCTA Needle Arts Group on Facebook.

The Surface Design & Mixed Media Group explores all facets of surface design, led by Yvonne Warren. Meetings are held at 1:30 pm on the fourth Thursday of each month, except July, August, September, and December. Also look for the SCTA Surface Design & Mixed Media Study Group on Facebook.
